On this day trip, we’ll explore the Llyn’s rocky coast with its cliffs, strong tides and Bardsey Island (welsh: Ynes Enilli- Island of Currents) at its end. This advanced trip includes a committing paddle across Bardsey sound onto Bardsey isl., and is a absolute Welsh Classic! We need settled conditions and low winds to accomplish this paddle, but it’ll still feel like we are really out there.
Prereq.: Personal skills at the level of the BC Seakayak Award or above (3*+). Efficient paddling skills, and experience in rescuing and being rescued. Being comfortable in your boat for 1 1/2- 2 1/2 hours is essential. We will encounter moving water and waves. Landing is almost impossible once we’ve left the start point.

Auf dieser geführten Tagestour erkunden wir die Llyn Halbinsel und die Insel Bardsey (wallisich: Ynys Enilli- Insel der Ströme).
Eine Fortgeschrittene Tour die mit guten Felsgärten unter steilen Klippen, starken Tiden strömen und fantastischen Tierleben zu den Absoluten Klassikern von Wales gehört. Ruhiges wetter und ein freundlicher See Gang sind erforderlich für eine erfolgreiche Querung des Bardsey Sound. Dennoch fühlt man hier die offene See.
Vorraussetzung: Du solltest dich auf einem guten BC See Kajak Award/ ,,Seebefähigung” (BCU 3*) Level befinden. Effiziente paddle Technik, Erfahrung in Retten und bergen, Kompetenz in welligen Bedingungen, und Strömung sind erforderlich. Wir werden ca. 1 1/2- 2 1/2 Stunden am Stück unterwegs sein da es keine Anlandungs Möglichkeiten gib.
